CHARGING HOSE, that is, the charging hose of the refrigeration system, is an important component used to connect the refrigeration system, refrigerant cylinder, vacuum pump, pressure gauge and other equipment during the maintenance and installation of refrigeration equipment. Different functional pipelines are distinguished by color.
1. Structure and material
Structure: It consists of an inner tube, a reinforcement layer and an outer protective layer. The inner tube is in direct contact with the refrigerant and needs to be resistant to chemical corrosion; the reinforcement layer provides strength and pressure resistance; the outer protective layer plays a role in wear resistance, anti-aging and protection.
Material: The inner tube is generally made of rubber or plastic materials that are resistant to refrigerant corrosion, such as nitrile rubber; the reinforcement layer often uses a steel wire braided layer or a fiber braided layer to improve the pressure resistance; the outer protective layer is a rubber material with good wear resistance and weather resistance.
2. Color identification and function
Blue tube: Usually connected to the low-pressure side of the refrigeration system, used to measure the low-pressure pressure, and can also be connected to the vacuum pump or refrigerant cylinder to the low-pressure end when vacuuming and filling refrigerant.
Red tube: connected to the high-pressure side of the refrigeration system, used to measure the high-pressure pressure, used in system pressure testing, refrigerant recovery and other operations.
Yellow tube: generally used to connect refrigerant cylinders to achieve refrigerant filling, and can also be used as an intermediate connecting pipeline in system emptying, refrigerant recovery and other operations.
3. Performance characteristics
Strong pressure resistance: The working pressure can generally reach several hundred psi, and the bursting pressure is higher. For example, some products have a working pressure of 800PSI and a bursting pressure of 4000PSI, ensuring safe use under high-pressure environments.
Good corrosion resistance: It can withstand the corrosion of a variety of refrigerants and refrigeration oils, ensuring service life and transmission performance.
Good flexibility: It can be bent, which is convenient for operation and connection of different equipment in a small space.
